MORNING SESSION: Green Tara Sadhana Practice and Tsok Offering Ceremony Sunday Morning: April 30, 2006 - 10:00 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.
The Green Tara Sadhana Practice The Sadhana Practice is an ongoing deity practice. This is a perfect opportunity to be introduced to the Green Tara practice if you have only received the Green Tara Empowerment or an ideal time to perfect your own Green Tara practice. The Sadhana booklet will be provided if you have not already received one. All are welcome to attend the Sadhana Practice. If you have not yet received the Green Tara Empowerment (Initiation), Lama Migmar will give you a special transmission so you can take part in the practice. The Green Tara Tsok (Feast) Offering Ceremony A Tsok Offering is a ceremony where offerings (fruits, flowers and food) are offered to the shrine and then the food is shared with those in attendance during the ceremony.
Please bring: Fruits and flowers for the shrine as well as vegetarian food (juice, vegetarian sandwiches, vegetarian sushi, samosas or other vegetarian dishes and desserts) to be offered and shared during the ceremony.
AFTERNOON SESSION: Dharma Talk: “Sustaining Happiness through Meditation and Merit” Sunday: April 30, 2006 - 2:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
Location of Morning and Afternoon Sessions: The Blue Diamond (in the Social Room) 4779 Collins Ave. (Collins & 47th St.) Miami Beach, FL Parking: Valet parking available (no charge for valet parking, just tip the parking attendant)
NOTE: Please bring your meditation cushion if you are comfortable sitting on the floor.
